In Wirksworth, after a chance introduction in the pub via our friend John, we visited Alice & Gavin’s incredible project — guiding trees into shape over years to create chairs and other fantastic pieces.
In their process they experiment with different designs, different species of tree and different strategies to influence how the tree grows.
